Misc. Information
If you buy two kits, you can use them to build a nice set of small towers, or a bookshelf speaker design. Then use the vertical layout for best performance.
Cabinet requirements are pretty basic, you should be fine keeping it around .5 cf. Ported works well for these woofers.
Wiring; the crossover to the speakers is very straight forward. We putting the woofers in series. Take the positive lead from the crossover and connect to the positive terminal of woofer #1. Then you will need a length of wire. This wire connects between the negative terminal on woofer #1 and goes to the positive terminal on woofer #2. Finally you run a lead from the Woofer Negative terminal of the crossover to the negative tab of Woofer #2.This completes wiring the woofers in series.
Hooking up the tweeter is easy, you run a lead from the crossovers Tweeter positive terminal to the positive tab of the tweeter. Then from the crossovers negative Tweeter terminal to the negative tab of the tweeter.
For best response use a tweeter centered design ( Horizontal Layout ), see picture below.
